Oil Can Pumpkins
When my dad passed away at 91, my brother and I went through his shed and cleaned out some of the things we knew my mom would not want or need. I found two old oil cans and basically took them straight to storage. This year, I decided it was time to do something creative with them.
So, off to the store to get some spray paint. I removed all of the caps and taped off the tops with painter’s tape. I sprayed each with a couple of coats of spray paint and then sanded them to remove any sheen and rough them up to make it look like the paint may have been there for a a decade. I added my Halloween designs by combining several different designs from Silhouette Studio.

I think they’re a great companion to the jack-o’-lantern can I showcased from last year. What do you think?
