Granola

This is my favorite granola recipe. I do not like seeds because they get stuck in my teeth, but feel free to add any and all of your favorite ingredients. Try to keep the same ratios of dry to wet ingredients if you do.

This is a tasty breakfast cereal or just as a sweet, healthy treat.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/3 Cup Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 Cup Slivered Almonds
  • 2/3 Cup Unsweetened Shredded Coconut (not flakes)
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line a half sheet pan with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
  • Heat maple syrup, coconut oil, sea salt, cinnamon, and vanilla, stirring until the coconut oil is fully melted and the ingredients combined.
  • Combine oats, almonds, coconut, and pecans in a large bowl.
  • Pour the melted ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir thoroughly.
  • Spread on the baking pan and put it into the oven.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let your granola cool thoroughly then break into bite size pieces.
  • Store in an airtight container.
