Preheat oven to 450 degrees
In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients.
Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients and incorporate with your pastry blender.
Add milk and stir until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and roll out to 3/4 inch thickness.
Cut out approximately 12 biscuits or until all dough is used.
Place in baking dish with sides touching. This will prevent a crust from forming on the sides of the biscuit.
Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are a golden brown on top.
